Helping Hands: Local Businesses Support Columbia After Tornado

Laid Back Landscaping Supports Columbia After Tornado

At Laid Back Landscaping, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. When the EF3 tornado hit Columbia, TN on May 8, we knew we had to step up. Our owner, Sean Deckert, has always been committed to supporting the local communities, and this time was no different. Partnering with other local businesses, our crews joined forces to help with the relief and cleanup efforts.

Partnering for a Greater Cause

Our crews showed up ready to work, bringing our equipment and our team to join forces with Mosier's Landscape Solutions, TW Lawncare, Do It Yourself Dumpsters, Millennium Pools, and True Blue Pools. Together, we tackled the tasks of clearing debris and assisting residents affected by the storm. It was incredible to see everyone come together with a shared goal: to help our neighbors in Columbia.

A History of Giving Back

Sean Deckert isn't new to community service. Over the years, he has led numerous initiatives to support our local community. Each spring, Laid Back hosts Easter basket giveaways, bringing joy to children and families. In August, the business organizes school backpack giveaways, ensuring kids are prepared for the new school year. And every November, we provide Thanksgiving meals and turkey giveaways, helping families in need enjoy a special holiday.

Caring for the Community

Sean's genuine heart for giving back is at the core of everything we do at Laid Back Landscaping. His dedication to our community is inspiring, and his actions make us all to do more and give more. Whether it's through our regular community events or stepping up in times of crisis, we are proud to be a part of this incredible community and to contribute in any way we can.
